Education Scholarships

 

Fifty rural students comprising mainly of children of farmers received education scholarships after successfully competing at last years Grade five scholarship examinations.

 

The education scholarships are given annually by CIC Agri Businesses as part of the Company’s CSR philosophy and commitment towards uplifting Rural Education. The recipient students were from the North-Central Province and the Eastern Province.

 

The Students received their scholarships from Minister of Agriculture Hon Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene and Minister of Education Hon Bandula Gunawardene and Hon Udaya Gammanpila, Minister of Agriculture, Western Provincial Council.
