CIC Agri Businesses has also invested in the Livestock industry and posses around 25,000 layers, 200 Buffaloes, 100 goats and over 250 pigs. The produce of the Livestock is marketed under the brand CIC Fresh Produce in some of the leading Supermarkets in the island. In addition the Company has also opened its own Fruit & Vegetable outlets ‘Fresheez’ to supply quality farm fresh fruits & vegetables to consumers. Fresh fruit Juices are also sold in the ‘Juiceez’ Outlets which have come up very recently.

The Company has tied up with the Worlds largest Fruit Producer Dole’ and producers Banana which is exported to the Middle East. In addition Pineapple and Melon are also grown in the farms with a view for exports.

Recently CIC Agri Businesses ventured into the production of Maize which is used heavily in the local feed industry. The Company expects to produce over 15,000 metric tones annually through an Outgrower system. This project will eventually help the country save foreign exchange as large quantities of Maize are imported annually.

In one of it’s latest developments the Company with the assistance of Satake, Japan has set up a modern-high tech Rice mill that has a capacity to mill over 3000 metric tones of rice a year. This enables CIC Agribusinesses to produce a very high quality premium Rice which is marketed locally under the brand name Golden Crop in Supermarkets.
