What is it?
This low-cost scheme has been specially designed to assist small-scale agriculturist, who are engaged in perennial crop based agricultural projects, by providing them with professional advice and guidance, on a need basis.

Which type of clients will benefit?
This service will be ideal for those clients, who seek opportunities for improvement of productivity and profitability of their agricultural projects through quality advisory services from capable outside parties.

What size of agricultural projects will benefit from this scheme?
This is a scheme which has been specially introduced to assist clients who are not benefitted from our Contract Advisory Service scheme where the minimum monthly fee is Rs. 5000/=. Those who carry out projects up to 6 acres will have the opportunity under this scheme to obtain advice & guidance by paying a lesser fee.

What type of agricultural projects are covered?
Planting material production (Nuseries0 and growing of coconut, spice crops, fruit crops, etc. are covered under this scheme.

Who will provide advisory services?
a team a advisory officers comprising of agriculture graduates with several years of post-graduate training and experience in the above fields are now based in the respective areas for providing you with the regular and speedy advisory services based on your needs.

They are supported and backed by a panel of experts engaged by CIC enabling you to recieve the best adviceand guidance at all times.

How often do they visityour projects?
The frequency of visits and the time spent at site will depend on the needs at different stages of your project. However, CIC will ensure that 24 visits are made to your site within a year and the attached fee schedule has been worked out on that basis.

What do they do on their visits?
The advisory officers will review progress during the period in between the last visit and the present visi, arrange to rectify any shortcomings and plan operations for the next period.

Who will look after the project and get the work done?
The Client has to carry out the project as per advice and guidance given by the advisory services of CIC.

How much will it cost?
CIC will charge a fee as per fee schedule given overleaf.
Relevant standard monthly fee has to be paid by the client before the first day of each month, in order to continue with this service for a particular month.
